(Who and what composes this specialty group)
#1. Who are
involved in pastoral care specialty group?
It is a group of chaplains, spiritual directors,
those in pastoral care in hospitals, nursing
homes, and parishes. We have hospice care and
Stephen Ministers and all those caregivers in
Christian settings. Anyone in Pastoral care-giving is welcome, including those in church or hospital ministry,
hospice, community, nursing homes, whatever care-giving you do; and also spiritual directors. All are welcome.
#2. Who should come to meetings?
All are welcome to participate in pastoral care;
we introduce ourselves and our specialty and
there is time to process information of
conferences and pray individually and for the
group.
#3. We are encouraged to share our ministry
ongoing with whatever special events,
evangelizing-material, books and prayers that
are helpful to us and others in our special
field (with others through e-mail, regular mail,
or by phone).
