Cleveland
Region of the Association of
Christian Therapists
Our
region is following the spirit to renewed activity in
downtown Cleveland. St. John AME Church is our new meeting
place where Reverend Dr. Taylor T. Thompson welcomes us from
10:00 AM till noon one Saturday morning a month. During our
first meeting at our new site we agreed to follow the Spirit
and that Healing with the Heart of Jesus is most needed for
reconciliation and tolerance concerning diversity of
religion, race and socio-economic conditions in Cleveland.
Our convening members are: our host Pastor Thompson,
Reverend Roger Dickerson who prays for the dangerous streets
of depressed Elyria, a community health outreach worker from
St. Vincent Charity Hospital, two members of the public
school ministry of Historic St. Peter Church, the founder of
Eagle Wings Outreach for fathers & sons and a development
director for a human service agency. Each of our
participants is dedicated to healing the soul of poverty
found crowded into our city space.
Our next scheduled meeting is August 30th, 2008, at St. John
AME Church, 40th & Central, just a few blocks from the
Cuyahoga Community College downtown campus.
