of the Association of Christian Therapists

 

Welcome to the Connecticut Region of ACT

The Association [ACT] is an international non-profit organization of health care professionals in physical, mental & spiritual health care disciplines who are committed to Jesus Christ and His Spirit, are open to integrating the Lord's Teaching into their work and to use the Gifts of the Holy Spirit for discernment and healing.

Membership includes nurses, therapists, physicians, dentists, clergy and religious, educators, pastoral care, allied health care and associates, plus lay members who support healing through the heart of Jesus. Member or non-member, ALL are welcome to attend the retreat. Commuting an option.

The Oratory of the Little Way is continuing its one-day retreats for people who suffer (or have suffered) with various chronic diseases, and who would like to learn how to deal with these diseases spiritually. Give God a day of your time and see what God can do for you.

This ecumenical retreat will not require that you share your personal experiences. The healing will occur: (1) as you begin to recognize some of the lies your abuser instilled in you, (2) as you understand that Jesus suffered abuse similar to the ways you were abused, (3) when you meet Him in experiences of listening prayer, (4) when you receive and prayerfully use the retreat manual

you are given at the end of the retreat.
